Tracy J. Brown
I was raised in extreme poverty. My mother struggled with addiction, and I have never met—or even seen—my father. To this day, I don't know who he is or what he looks like. By all accounts, I was an "at-risk" youth.
But my story didn't end there.
Through the grace of God and the sacrifices of teachers, coaches, mentors, pastors, and other community leaders who believed in me, invested in me, and refused to let me fail, my life took a very different path.
Those experiences shaped my life's mission.
In 2003, I founded Urban Awareness USA with one simple vision: to help nonprofits, churches, and community organizations access the funding, knowledge, and support they need to transform lives and strengthen communities.
More than two decades later, that mission continues through an incredible team of nonprofit professionals who share the same passion for serving organizations that serve others.

What is included with Community Membership?
Community Membership includes weekly live training, webinar recordings, featured funding reports, a private member community, networking groups, funding opportunity alerts, and access to our growing resource center—all designed to help you build a stronger nonprofit.
What's the Difference Between Membership Levels?
Community Membership provides the foundation with training, resources, and community. Essentials adds even more tools and resources, including the Funding Database, Resource Library, and Live Expert Sessions. Professional includes everything in Essentials plus personalized guidance such as one-on-one consultations, custom funding research, and priority support.
Can I upgrade my membership later?
Yes. You can start with Community Membership and upgrade to Essentials or Professional whenever you're ready.
Do I have to purchase Essentials or Professional?
No. Community Membership is a complete membership on its own. Essentials and Professional are optional add-ons for members who want additional resources, personalized support, and advanced member benefits.
Who is this membership for?

Is there a contract?
No. Community Membership is billed annually, while Essentials and Professional are monthly add-ons. There are no long-term contracts for the add-on memberships.

Are the live trainings recorded?
